About Us

Dr. Eileen Tan obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) Degree (1991) and Master of Medicine (MMed) in Internal Medicine (1997) from the National University of Singapore. She was accredited as a dermatologist by the Specialist Accreditation Board in 2001. A fellowship in dermatologic surgery, lasers and hair disorders, and hair transplantation at the University of British Columbia was conducted in 2002.

Dr. Eileen Tan was the recipient of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery Preceptorship Award in 2001. The following year, she was awarded the North American Hair Research Society Mentorship award. She was certified as a Diplomate by American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery in 2009.

Dr. Tan has been invited to speak at national and international meetings regularly and has published research papers in both international and local medical journals. She is a familiar face on national television and is often featured on radio and in numerous health-related publications. As part of the public education to create awareness regarding various hair and scalp problems, Dr. Tan authored and published the book "A Guide to Healthy Scalp and Hair" in 2010.

Dr. Tan’s practice encompasses medical and cosmetic dermatology, with a strong emphasis on hair and nail disorders, hair transplantation, laser surgery, and body contouring.
